B.Michavery’s Youth Spotlight: Future Innovator & Musical Talent : Kayla “Sharve” Baker from Houston Texas!#B.Brave

It’s no secret how passionate i am about our younger generation’s growth and development. I am an extreme advocate for positivity and showing our youth how to become their full potential and follow their dreams. It has become so common in our society to ignore the fact that the youth really is our future and without effective examples of what they can actually become being present, it is no wonder many of our youth become lost. One thing i have learned is no matter how successful you are, if you are not inspiring our youth to become better than all your success is worth nothing. Which is why i am ecstatic to introduce you all to Kayla “Sharve” Baker, who is known to many as simply “Sharve”. Sharve is originally born in Louisiana and raised in Houston Texas, where she is making a very impressive mark for herself through her talent. Not only is Sharve a beautiful young lady, she has a voice that could easily become the new “Voice” of her generation, her style is innovative and bold, yet her spirit is very much humble. And while many young stars are focused on becoming the eyecandy in a highly oversexed entertainment industry she is still very much connected with her youthfulness. Her music is fun, uplifting and reminiscent of a 80’s and 90’s block party vibe mixed with soul! Sharve not only is on her way to musical stardom with accomplishments ranging from appearing at numerous talent competitions, festivals, pageants, and working along side some of the greats in the industry such as multiplatinum singer/songwriter Tami Latrell, who wrote her Debut Single WHAT YOU THINK I’M ON FEATURING YOUNG MARQUS, performing at essence festival, working with celebrity fashion stylist Ebony Tezeno etc, but she also is very passionate about her community and her peers. At just 14 years old she is in the process of starting her very own Non Profit Organization In which she will use to build a foundation for the youth to continue to follow their dreams and focus on leaving behind their very own legacy. One of her partnerships is with MD Anderson Kids Cancer Center, in which together they will be assisting her with ensuring her mission is manifested, as well as ensuring her mission is expressed through her very First Sweetheartz Tour launching October 2013.

BraveStars this young lady is an example of not allowing anything to stop you from pursing your dreams and ambitions! You can be anything you want to be in life. No Really! You can be anything you want in this life if your willing to work hard and focus on getting it done! I am so proud of this young lady’s ambition and hard work, and look forward to following her journey along the way…….She is just getting started!
