I know we all have the secret obsessions material wise, I mean we all love being able to purchase certain things or go certain places, but what many of us fail to understand is why at times it may feel as if something is still missing. How can you have the biggest house, the greatest friends, best opportunities , nicest cars, top education, the best bodies, etc and still not be happy. I mean how in the world can you still have problems in any area when you have all of the above? This is the illusion society has allowed to be created with the help of magazines, television, red carpets and much more, you know  the picture perfect, don’t show your truth curtain.  However what is never truly discussed is how you can have everything money can buy and still not be happy or satisfied. Truth is you can purchase everything that will help create a pseud , but eventually what is under the surface surfaces. People & their opinions, judgement , & perceptions of how life should be for you will eventually take a toll and you will lose yourself. Why? Because you are not really happy with the person you are, Continue reading “Journey To better Phase 2-Day 11- Understanding True Happiness Doesn’t Come From “Things” That Make You Happy, But “Being” The Thing that Creates Your Happiness & The Lesson Legendary Robin Williams’s Sudden Death Should Teach Us.”

Beyonce ,Baby Blue Ivy, The Controversial Debate over Her Hair & The Message It REALLY Sends!

I have consciously not spoken publicly  about the above controversy or “Views” regarding what has now become the  “To HAVE” topic of discussion as of late, Because for one my opinion is a strong one, and as any time i speak i choose to speak from an authentic place, and two  I look at it in a totally diverse way when approaching.  I don’t have I what I like to call a ” Converting syndrome” which is the mentality that many unknowingly operate from. Its the mentality that once they “feel” view” or believe a certain way or thing, & once they share those, feelings, views or beliefs with other’s that the other person  should suddenly agree or believe it as well. And if they don’t, Well, it changes their perspective of the person and suddenly they are no longer able to coexist. Which you see so often, with religion, culture, social status etc. For example, let say you have a friend you have never had a discussion with about marriage. Now, YOUR belief is you should marry before children or marry before you live together, now unbeknownst to you, your friend doesn’t believe that marriage is the ultimate gratification for showing you love someone. Prior to this conversation you thought the world of this friend you felt this friend was the wisest person you knew, BUT once you Continue reading “Beyonce ,Baby Blue Ivy, The Controversial Debate over Her Hair & The Message It REALLY Sends!”

Re Release of Highly Anticipated Docu-Film ” REVEALED”: Embracing The inner you! Part 1

I am so excited to Announce the RE RELEASE of my Original Documentary released originally Last year ” Revealed“. This film really allowed me to dig deep and embrace the different yet very simular characteristics many of us face or have faced in life. This experience was truly one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever experienced, and I am so excited that the reviews had been incredible. Being featured on DOCUMENTARY TV, countless media outlets, and interviews surrounding the film made me realize that I am able to do incredible things by using my voice and sharing not only my struggles and how I overcame,  but also encouraging others to do the same.  In August Continue reading “Re Release of Highly Anticipated Docu-Film ” REVEALED”: Embracing The inner you! “Intuition Speaks” Who is Your Trayvon Martin? ” Fight Continues” #B.Michavery

When the death of Trayvon occurred so many People showed up to rally and protest, as well as dedicate songs , videos, poems, commercials etc in his honor… And don’t get me wrong it was all an amazing gesture. It was amazing to see how many people really could and would come together for a cause to fight for a person’s justice whom they never met, but yet felt connected through this tragedy. Months after Trayvon Martins death….so many have NOT continued on the fight they began when it first happened and it makes me question how authentic their dedication to really making a difference really was!. I mean lets be honest most people did it for show, the same people holding candlelight’s and memorial services for trayvon who lived states away hadn’t even taken the time to address the crime in their own neighborhoods. The same people who dedicated post on facebook , twitter, instagram and other social media sites, hadn’t even went next door or down the street and showed their support or condolences  to the mother/grandmother/cousin/sister/friend /daughter or son who had just lost their loved one  as well to a senseless crime in their OWN CITY, But yet were so active in the fight for Trayvon. NOW let me be clear, It was and still is  a horrible tragedy that occurred and my heart continues to go out to the family of Trayvon, However we have to know that the fight doesn’t END there, it is a continued battle in our streets, in our neighborhoods even within our own families!.. What are we as a community of people doing to bring awareness and prevent these things from occurring in our own neighborhoods? …Doesn’t this make you a hypocrite? Where is your hoodie, skittles and tea for them?…#B.Michavery
