Voting this year will be held 11/06/2012!…..We by now should all know how important it is to take a stand for SOMETHING. Now I will say this, while yes i will be voting for Obama, it doesnt matter who you vote for!…Im not here to make that decision for you. but what i am here to do is let you know that if you are over the age of 18, it is very important that you make a decision and vote!..Dont decide to not make a decision based on your parents views, friends, race, religion etc..That goes for Republican and Democrat Parties!…Our Youth is our Future and IF we are not leading by example and making a decision to better their lives in the future, than what is our purpose!…Its easy for us to make decisions on , which clubs to attend, what liquor is the best, what weaves are the best quality, (and there is nothing wrong with that) However its also important to know that Can’t be all that’s important!..GET YOUR BUTT TO THE POLLS AND VOTE!….IT COUNTS!. Remember voting for your senators, city council, governor, school officials etc are Even MORE important. You have no Opinion about how things are being ran if YOU are not making an attempt to make a diffrence!..#B.Michavery

Target NOT selling Frank Oceans New Album......Channel Orange...

This comes to a shock for many of the Frank Ocean Supporters, and many may jump to the conclusion it has something to do with his latest confession of being “Gay” or “Bisexual” BUT thats not the case if you let the retail giant say it!…According to Target “it would not be carrying the CD Tuesday, July 17th, (its release date) because of Def Jam’s decision to release the set a week early as an iTunes exclusive.

But Ocean’s manager Christian Clancy suggested Target’s decision may have had something to do with the singer’s recent admission that he had a romantic relationship with a man. Billboard.com says Clancy tweeted earlier this week in regard to Target, quote, “Interesting since they also donate to non-equal rights organizations.”

Mac Miller Being Sued for 10Million........

Mac Miller is facing a ten-million-dollar lawsuit from a veteran rapper who says the hip-hop newcomer used one of his track’s without permission. According to “Courthouse News Service,” Lord Finesse is accusing Miller of lifting his 1995 song “Hip 2 Da Game” for his own song, “Kool Aid and Frozen Pizza.” ……..Which is the song that supposedly got Mac Miller his buzz…BUT get this he released the song for free as a mixtape song and the Artist sueing him never got clearance to use to the beat in the first place……..smh…

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney addressed the 103rd NAACP Annual Convention on Wed., July 11, in Houston.

The former Massachusetts governor drew boos from the crowd as he pledged to get rid of “every non-essential expensive program I can find”, namely “Obamacare”, but also do a better job at helping blacks than President Barack Obama: “If you want a president who will make things better in the African American community, you’re looking at him.

“Intuition Speaks” Who is Your Trayvon Martin? ” Fight Continues” #B.Michavery

When the death of Trayvon occurred so many People showed up to rally and protest, as well as dedicate songs , videos, poems, commercials etc in his honor… And don’t get me wrong it was all an amazing gesture. It was amazing to see how many people really could and would come together for a cause to fight for a person’s justice whom they never met, but yet felt connected through this tragedy. Months after Trayvon Martins death….so many have NOT continued on the fight they began when it first happened and it makes me question how authentic their dedication to really making a difference really was!. I mean lets be honest most people did it for show, the same people holding candlelight’s and memorial services for trayvon who lived states away hadn’t even taken the time to address the crime in their own neighborhoods. The same people who dedicated post on facebook , twitter, instagram and other social media sites, hadn’t even went next door or down the street and showed their support or condolences  to the mother/grandmother/cousin/sister/friend /daughter or son who had just lost their loved one  as well to a senseless crime in their OWN CITY, But yet were so active in the fight for Trayvon. NOW let me be clear, It was and still is  a horrible tragedy that occurred and my heart continues to go out to the family of Trayvon, However we have to know that the fight doesn’t END there, it is a continued battle in our streets, in our neighborhoods even within our own families!.. What are we as a community of people doing to bring awareness and prevent these things from occurring in our own neighborhoods? …Doesn’t this make you a hypocrite? Where is your hoodie, skittles and tea for them?…#B.Michavery
